ULVERSTON has reached the finals of this year's national Britain in Bloom competition.
The town is one of 10 which have been shortlisted for the awards.
The Royal Horticultural Society's Britain in Bloom judges will visit each of the finalists in August with the winners of each category announced at an awards ceremony in the autumn.
Ulverston has been shortlisted in the 'towns' category.
Other categories include coastal, village, town centre and city.
