BREXIT has happened. I still fear that our nation will live to regret it, but we are where we are and, as we always do, we will make the best of it.
To celebrate the occasion, I note that our one-nation, unity government has issued a special 50p Brexit Day commemorative coin.
I have yet to be assured that the poor and vulnerable will not be those that suffer most from Brexit and so it is my intention, every time I find one of these coins in my pocket, to either donate it to a relevant charity or give it to a homeless person.
Perhaps if a few million of those of like mind, who can afford to do this, make a habit of it then a modest but real Brexit dividend might reach those who are likely to need it most.
