I RECENTLY attended a Burns Night at Booths' Kendal store and had an amazing night with a Scottish friend.
The food was delicious; obviously haggis, neeps and tatties followed by a whisky-and-marmalade pudding. This was accompanied by a whisky tasting and all for £15.
I hope Booths continue with other events, especially sourcing local food and drink, and I am sure word of mouth will lead to them being sold out, as was the Burns Night event.
This came the week after Booths had offered "£3 off when you spend £30" with a MyCumbria card. Booths certainly is the supermarket of the North and I admire them for supporting the county. Thank you.
