A WOMAN has been banned from the road for more than three years for drink driving.
Jacqueline Sadler was found to be over the limit after driving on the A65 near Kirkby Lonsdale's Devil's Bridge on January 15.
The 56-year-old recorded a reading of 85 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - more than twice the legal limit.
Sadler, of Masongill, Carnforth, was banned from driving for 40 months at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court yesterday after pleading guilty to the offence.
She was also told to pay a £255 fine, £32 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
