A LAND Rover stolen from a Silverdale garage was recovered by police thanks to a prompt telephone call from a witness, Sgt Lindsay Brown told a meeting of Silverdale Parish Council.
Sgt Brown said Lancashire Police mounted a full response after the theft from Shore Road was reported. Officers chased and caught the offenders, and several other vehicles were also recovered form the gang and returned to their owners, he added.
