A CAR transporter stuck in snow caused disruption on a key Lake District route.
A gritter was swiftly deployed to clear Kirkstone Pass after it got into difficulty at lunchtime yesterday (February 13).
The transporter was trapped between Townhead Brow and Road for about an hour.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes while work took place to clear the road.
