Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron
IN THE House of Commons, MP Tim Farron asked environment secretary Theresa Villiers to 'guarantee' that farmers would not face 'crippling' taxes and tariffs on exports following Brexit.
Ms Villiers said: "The Government is clear that it's seeking a free trade agreement with the European Union without tariffs." She added the Prime Minister would be working to this end "in the months ahead."
