SCHOOL CLOSURES: We've put together a list of the schools closed across the county Picture: Canva
Some schools will remain closed until after half term because of problems with water supply.
It follows recent bad weather brought on by Storm Ciara, which badly damaged a water supply pipe.
Cumbria County Council and United Utilities have advised many schools not to open until the issue is fixed.
The schools closed today are:
- Asby Endowed School
- Gosforth CofE School
- Moorland Area CofE Primary School
