WATER damage means urgent repair works will be carried out along a Kirkby Lonsdale road from tomorrow.
Vehicles will not be able to pass along a section of the B6446 Kendal Road, from its junction with the A65 extending in a north-easterly direction for around 75m.
A Highways spokesman said the work was expected to take two days. An alternative route will be signposted and pedestrian access maintained.
