MOURHOLME Local History Society is looking forward to a talk on Wednesday, February 26 by Dr Alan Crosby on 'Sex and Sin in 17th Century Lancashire'.
Dr Crosby will contrast the efforts made by church and magistrates to enforce moral behaviour with the reality as evidenced in verbatim court
records. The talk will take place in Yealand Village Hall and begin at 7.30pm. It will be followed by refreshments and visitors are welcome.
