STORM Dennis ripped through all three divisions of the James Cropper Westmorland League after every single game was postponed.

Waterlogged pitches, as well as treacherous conditions made play impossible as the fixtures are sure to pile up over the coming weeks and months.

If conditions allow the Benevolent Trophy Semi Finals get underway after Appleby entertain Keswick while Windermere play host to Wetheriggs United.

Appleby Broad Close has suffered with the weather and flooding, so if play does get underway both teams will be keen to book their place in the final.

Windermere’s team are currently second in division one will host third place Wetheriggs United at Queens Park.

Both teams are having good seasons so far in division one, with Windermere in second and just two points behind league leaders Appleby while Wetheriggs are third and four points behind second place.

In division one, seventh placed Endmoor KGR host Sedbergh and Dent United while in the High Sheriffs Cup Ibis host Shap.

Division two sees league leaders Keswick Reserves take on second placed Kendal United Reserves at Fitz Park, while third placed Ambleside United host AFC Carlisle.

In the other games local bragging rights will be up for grabs when Burneside entertain ibis Reserves, while Staveley United and Kendal County Reserves go head to head.

As for division three for the Peter Daws Memorial Shield sees Eden Thistle entertain Staveley United Reserves, while Kirkoswald Reserves, Langwathby United, Wetheriggs United Reserves and Ullswater United are also in action.
