A MAJOR company has announced it has been awarded contracts for design projects at two Lake District railway stations.
The work at Ravenglass and Dalegarth railway stations, which both sit on the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway line, follows on from Select Interiors' work at the Brockhole Cafe at Ecclerigg last year.
Carl Brown, the company's managing director, said: "The team feels a real affinity with the Lakes. Most of our projects are in the North West and we are proud of the various sites we have worked on and the input we are having at locations that have a real heritage and story."
He added: “We’re particularly pleased with the reception that our designs are being met with. We provide a full service- offering from space planning to bespoke joinery and fit -, but these projects rest on the creativity of the design and it’s that which is getting our name out there at the moment.”
