CUMBRIAN farmers are being urged to apply for a bursary to attend the 29th Commonwealth Agriculture Conference over summer.
The Westmorland County Agricultural Society is offering the money to support up to two places at the Norfolk event, which will focus on sustainable solutions to the challenges which the food production industry currently faces.
For more information about the bursary, which is open to 18 to 40-year-olds, call 015395 67804.
The conference is taking place at the University of East Anglia between June 30 and July 11.
