Darren Gill said: "Made many a suggestion but still think a 70mph crossings of Morecambe bay and Duddon Estuary and make the A590 50mph max speed so all 1000s of tourist can enjoy the beauty of our great county. Funding for the crossings can come from various sources including Government, local businesses and when complete a toll at all ends that is cheaper than it take for fuel to drive round."

Jonathan Peers said: "Speed cameras in Ulverston and other increments along the A590 are ridiculous. The amount of idiots driving past taking risks. I don't think I've seen as many people nearly causing crashes."
