A SOUTH Cumbria prison was in the bottom three with the worst visitor access in the UK.
HMP Haverigg was in the bottom three for prisons with the worst visitor access in the UK, with a rating of 16.56 per cent in a recent report by Stuart Miller Solicitors.
HMP Whitemoor was the second worst prison for visitor access with 16.51 per cent, whilst HMP Isle of Wight was the worst with 10.25 per cent.
All ratings were compiled from an anonymous survey of current inmates from the most recent report by HM Chief Inspectorate of Prisons
