PLANS have been submitted to convert a barn just outside of Penrith.
The applicant is looking to convert the barn, next to the junction between Moor Lane and Wetheriggs, into a fitness studio.
According to the public planning documents, Ms Cathryn Beckett is looking to develop the space - which is already being used as a studio and storage area - for the recreational purposes.
Plans for the barn development next to High Dykes Cottage show a multi-purpose 'studio-meeting-fitness recreation' area.
The planned development would involve installing bespoke wood-panelled glass doors and solar panels.
A consultation on the plans will run until March 9.
