A Common Blue butterfly
A TALK on butterflies is to be held at Cumbria Wildlife Trust's headquarters at Plumgarths.
Chris Winnick, chair of the Cumbrian branch of British charity Butterfly Conservation, will discuss the times of year the insects are most likely to be found and why some species are thriving and others struggling.
The event is on March 4 between 7.30pm and 9pm. The recommended donation is £2.50.
