A HISTORIC organ from Kendal’s St George’s church is to play a leading role in a concert given by Cumbrian chamber choir the Wordsworth Singers.
It is the largest surviving instrument made by Wilkinson’s of Kendal, is Grade 1 listed and dates back to 1883. It will be played by organist Alan Horsey from Halifax, in a concert featuring 19th and 20th century composers. Performing March 14 at 7:30pm, tickets costs £13 from wordsworthsingers.org.uk.
