A MAN has been banned from driving after getting behind the wheel under the influence of cannabis.
Ismael Navarro Garcia, of Bank Road in Windermere, pleaded guilty to drug-driving at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court earlier today.
He was stopped by police in Lake Road at 11.30pm on September 4 because his Volkswagen Golf's MOT had expired.
The 27-year-old had cannabis in his blood over the legal limit.
Garcia was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £375 and told to pay £85 costs and a £37 surcharge.
