CORONAVIRUS has forced the cancellation of all planned events for the foreseeable future.
Allan Bank and the Wordsworth Trust are closed, as are all bars, cafes and restaurants.
The co-op remains open and will deliver to vulnerable residents and those in self-isolation. Some local cafes are offering a takeaway service.
Visitors are strongly discouraged from visiting the area.
LOCAL volunteer groups give regular updates on social media, and are doing sterling work shopping and assisting older, vulnerable and isolated residents.
