ASDA in Kendal has introduced a queuing system which sees customers waiting in areas marked with tape to maintain the necessary 'social distance'.
Inside the shop there are arrows taped onto the floors to indicate which way customers should walk down the aisles, and shoppers receive regular reminders to maintain two metres of distance through the Tannoy.
