A MAN has been fined after being convicted of driving while over the alcohol limit.
Ryan Johnstone appeared before magistrates after he was found to be over the limit while driving in Barrow on March 1.
The 22-year-old was found to be over the limit after being stopped on Abbey Road.
He had 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
Johnstone, of Beach Street in Askam, was fined £169 and banned from driving for 15 months.
