CARTMEL Peninsula Local History Society has suspended its programme of meetings and outings until further notice.
IT IS intended to continue to hold the Cartmel Health Walks on Tuesdays at 11:00 at the Cartmel Racecourse grandstand and the Grange Health Walks on Thursdays at 11:00 at the Age UK Superstore.
People with flu or cold symptoms should not attend and walkers will be briefed on precautions at the start.

CARTMEL Over 60s Club has suspended its programme of meetings until further notice.
IT is planned to reactivate the Cartmel Neighbourhood Watch scheme to provide local information and support during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
It is intended to invite all households and village agencies to participate and information will be circulated when the arrangements are agreed.
