FRIENDSHIP: Volunteers set up telephone service
A TELEPHONE friendship service has been set up for people in the Cartmel Peninsula for those feeling sad, lonely or just in need of a human voice during the lockdown.
The volunteers running the service are also trialling an internet video chat, where participants talk, sing songs and even have art classes.
