DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses to come forward after shots were fired on a street in Halliwell last week.
Officers were called to Battenberg Road at around 10.25pm on Thursday, March 26 and discovered a red Kia and a black Vauxhall Corsa had been damaged after gunshots were fired.
A cordon was set up as forensic officers inspected the scene.
Police were present there until the following day, Friday.

No-one was injured in the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
A nearby resident, who has a friend who lives on the street, told The Bolton News that her friend heard a car pull up, followed by what seemed to be gunshots.
Today, Wednesday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has urged residents with any information to come forward.
A GMP spokesman said: "There have been no arrests in relation to this incident and a firearm has not yet been recovered however police are still following different lines of enquiries and the investigation is still ongoing.
"If you were in the area between the hours of 9pm and 10.30pm on Thursday, March 26 and saw anything unusual or suspicious please contact police as soon as possible."
