Police offer thanks for those obeying social distancing request
CUMBRIA Police have expressed their gratitude for those abiding by requests for social distancing.
A police spokesman said on Twitter that residents doing so were saving lives.
“We’re grateful to everyone staying away from rural walks and car parks, such as Talkin Tarn, and instead staying at home, helping to protect the NHS," he said.
“This is not forever and we all need to adhere to save lives”.
