TWO women were arrested after more than £3,000 worth of cocaine was seized from a van in South Lakeland.
The vehicle was stopped along the A590 near Hincaster at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
A Cumbria Constabulary spokeswoman said a 47-year-old woman from Morecambe was arrested "on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A, drug driving and possession of a controlled class B drug" and released under investigation.
A 17-year-old female, also from Morecambe, was "arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A" and released under investigation.
