FIREFIGHTERS are usually seen rescuing people from burning buildings, helping to put out wildfires or freeing drivers from trapped cars.
But two crews were called to a more unusual job today after a stag got stuck in football nets.
Crews from Ambleside and Kendal crews helped release the deer which had become entangled in the goal nets.
Many animals have been seen in rural towns as they are deserted by people adhering to the Government lockdown.
