BOSSES at St Mary's Hospice have thanked the community for its support.
The hospice has voiced its gratitude for the help shown during the coronavirus lockdown.
On Twitter the hospice said: "Our community has been incredible supporting us in the most helpful and innovative ways, we are proud to be here for our community."
Shed 1 Distillery in Ulverston has been making hand sanitiser and giving it away free to the hospice while the community has also helped to find accommodation for one of the hospice's new doctors.
