TEAM: The re-opened Inpatient Unit at the hospice
ST Mary's Hospice's inpatient unit has now officially re-opened.
The unit was forced to close after the hospice was unable to recruit a new specialist palliative care doctor.
However, following a successful recruitment campaign, the unit re-opened yesterday.
The hospice said on Twitter: "As you can imagine it was an emotional day yesterday as we re-open our Inpatient Unit which means so much to so many. We are here thanks to all our community's support, hardworking staff and volunteers."
