One more person has died across the three NHS trusts with hospitals in Cumbria.
The latest NHS figures reveal no new deaths at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust - which runs the Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary in Lancaster and the Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal - for the third consecutive day. The total since the outbreak began across all its hospitals is 144.
There were also no new deaths at the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the Carleton Clinic hospital in Carlisle alongside various hospitals across the North East. The total dead at this trust stands at seven.
Sadly one new death was recorded at the North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust - which runs the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle and the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven - bringing the total number of fatalities at the trust to 118.
