RESURFACING: The work will take place between J39 and 40
PART of the M6 in Cumbria will be resurfaced next week.
The motorway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5am from Junction 39 to Junction 40 while the work is carried out.
The work is taking place on the northbound carriageway.
Routine maintenance including gulley clearance and litter picking will also take place during this time.
A signed diversion will be in place, using part of the A6, during the closure.
Motorists are advised to plan journeys outside of the closure if possible.
