CREWS were called out to deal with an Eden outbuilding fire. 

Two fire engines - from Shap and Appleby - attended the incident on the C3058 at Crosby Ravensworth at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.

A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The fire involved an outbuilding at an agricultural property.

"Crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire."

Firefighters attended the scene for around 40 minutes.
