A POPULAR Ambleside gardening centre reopened its doors yesterday with new social distancing measures in place.
Hayes Garden World will be temporarily operating at reduced hours and will be open from 10am-4pm on Monday-Friday.
When visiting, only two people per household will be allowed in the store.
Customers are asked to refrain from touching anything that they do not intend to purchase.
There will be a one way system around the length of the store which must be adhered to - whilst also remaining two meters apart from customers and Hayes Garden World staff members.
The store has asked customers to pay by contactless or card only and reminded visitors that there will be no toilet facilities available within the building.
The Four Seasons Cafe inside the garden centre will remain closed.
