A DRUNK woman slipped and injured her head after trespassing on the railway line in Barrow, police said.
British Transport Police said today it was investigating after the incident at Salthouse Junction on Sunday.
The woman, who was with a boy, was taken to hospital after the fall, officers said.
BTP Lancashire said on Twitter: "We attended Salthouse Junction, #BarrowInFurness, on Sunday following a report of #trespassers on the line.
"An adult female had slipped and fallen, sustaining a head injury, and was taken to hospital.
"A juvenile male was returned home.
"Both were described as drunk. Enqs ongoing."
