Four men - including Tommy Robinson - have been released on police bail following investigations launched after police were called to Hollywood Retail Park at Barrow on Thursday night (June 4).

Officers were called to Hollywood Retail Park shortly after 8.30pm to a report of assault.

Mr Robinson - real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - was in Barrow to film a mass show of support following allegations of an Asian grooming gang in Barrow.

Officers responded and arrested four men shortly afterwards in the Douglas Street area of Walney.

Videos shared on social media showed Mr Robinson talking to police.

A man aged 43 from the West Midlands area, a man aged 47 from the North Wales area and a man aged 28 from the Bedfordshire area were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.

Mr Robinson, 37 and from the Bedfordshire area, was arrested on suspicion of assault and a public order offence.

Police this morning confirmed all four had now been released on bail.
