Police disperse large group camping at Haweswater
Police dispersed a large group of people camping in woodland at Haweswater yesterday evening.
Cumbria Police received reports of a gathering of seven individuals camping in the woods.
However on arrival found fifteen camped at Haweswater.
The individuals were sent home with warnings.
In a tweet Cumbria Specials said: "We had a report that seven individuals had camped up in the woods at Haweswater.
"When we arrived we found fifteen! All sent on their way back home with warnings."
