POLICE have shared an image of damage to a car following an incident on the A590.
Officers said the driver lost control of the car in damp conditions heading on to the road from the M6.
No-one was injured in the crash, police said.
Heavy damage was caused to the front of the car, a Nissan 300z.
Cumbria Roads Police said on Twitter: "Driver of this car exited the M6 at J36 onto the A590 and lost control on the damp road.
"Fortunately, the only damage was to the car and a small section of barrier."
