MAGISTRATES in Barrow have handed a curfew to man after he admitted assaulting a police officer.
Liam Bell pleaded guilty to two offences when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
PC Ellis was said to have been assaulted and harassed by the defendant on March 7.
Bell, of Hayclose Crescent in Kendal, will have to stay at home between 6pm and 6am for the next 16 weeks.
The 20-year-old was also told to pay an £85 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.
