Police have put out a warning after a spate of tool and trailer thefts.
The incidents have been reported just over the border by Dumfries & Galloway Police Division.
One incident happened between 5pm on June 18, and 7am on June 19, where a number of “high value” power tools were stolen from a Scottish Power substation near Lockerbie.
They were taken from a padlocked room within the substation. Some of the tools would have needed two people to lift.
A spokesman for Dumfries & Galloway Police Division said: “We’ve had several reports in the last few days regarding thefts of trailers and power tools.
“Although it’s unavoidable at times, please protect and secure your property as best you can to deter criminals as much as possible.”
