KENDAL is the easiest place in the North West to pass a driving test first-time, according to a new report.
The study by GoCompare, using data from the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency, found the first-time pass rate at the Oxenholme Road test centre was 63.7 per cent.
Barrow-in-Furness also made it into the top 10 - at number eight - with a first-time pass rate of 52.2 per cent.
At the other end of the scale, Bury, with a pass rate of just 32.5 per cent, was found to be the most difficult place in the North West to pass a driving test first-time.
