CUMBRIA Music Hub’s latest online performance to feature youth music charity.

The hub has partnered with charity NYMAZ for an online music event from Graffiti Classics. The line-up is set to include classical music fun with its scintillating slapstick, brilliant arrangements, and mischievous humour on Wednesday, July 8.

Cumbria Music Hub’s Yvonne Hulme said: “Graffiti Classics is not your ordinary string quartet - they inject their unique brand of fun into classical music. The performance will enable children to enjoy and develop their own musicality, whilst finding out more about the instruments along the way. The musicians have toured the world, so we are extremely excited to be able to bring them to the schools, families and young people of Cumbria via this live music broadcast.”

NYMAZ director, Sarah McWatt said: “During lockdown we have seen a huge uplift in families wanting to enjoy music online. We’ve responded by working with Music Education Hubs and music organisations to put together a calendar of live music broadcasts for the summer. Our programme of live music broadcasts can be found at connectresound.live/whatson.”

In addition to the performance, there will be a Q&A session, questions can be sent in by emailing info@nymaz.org.uk.
