A TEENAGER from south Cumbria has been charged with 'assault on an emergency worker' after police were called to a Kendal estate.
Cumbria Constabulary was called to the Sandylands Estate at around 2.40am on June 18 and made an arrest.
A constabulary spokeswoman said a 17-year-old from south Cumbria had since been charged with 'assault on an emergency worker and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.'
The spokeswoman said he was due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Barrow-in-Furness, on July 16.
