POLICE are investigating reports of properties in a South Lakeland village being damaged by ball bearings over a period of two months.

A Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said the latest incident occurred at around 6pm on Seedfield, Staveley, yesterday evening.

He said: "It is alleged that ball bearings have been launched into the air causing damage to properties."
