RUSHBEARING this Saturday, July 11 will be an online global event, replacing the traditional procession and church service.

Revd. David Wilmot and Ulverston Town Band will be involved, and the organisers would welcome stories of how Rushbearing has changed through the years.

Everyone is invited to make a bearing out of any materials and submit a photograph to grasmererushbearing@gmail.com by 10pm on Friday, July 10 at the latest.

Videos are available on the Facebook page Grasmere Rushbearing, and also on YouTube.

Thank you, Carrie Taylor, and the team, for demonstrating rushwinding techniques and examples of completed bearings.
