Having just announced the winners of the FA and McDonalds Grassroots Football Awards, Cumberland FA is now on the look out for more nominations for a #CFALockdownHero.
They want to find the clubs, coaches, volunteers, committee members or players in a Cumberland FA affiliated club who deserve a thanks or a pat on the back and to know their kindness and support was appreciated.
They are looking for people who went above and beyond during the lockdown period and went that extra mile for others. Their goodwill gesture doesn’t need to be just across the football community, but within their own community.
This could be shopping for a ‘shielding’ neighbour, or supporting key workers, they want to acknowledge our football community heroes.
Get in touch and say who it is, what they did and how they helped via social media at their CumberlandFA Facebook page or @Cumberland FA.
There are three prizes for three heroes. Prizes include £50 Kitlocker vouchers and Nike footballs.
Nominations must be in by August 15.
