Asda in Barrow
A SHOPLIFTER appeared in court after stealing food from a supermarket.
Alexander Thomas Raymond pleaded guilty to six charges of stealing food from Asda in Barrow when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
The 23-year-old, of Burnaby Street in Barrow admitted that he stole food from the supermarket, in Walney Road, on six occasions between May 17 and August 23 2019.
He was discharged conditionally and told to pay £187.64 in compensation to Asda.
