A MAN has avoided being jailed for 12 weeks after driving without a licence on the A590.
Keal Sweeting was charged after driving his Ford Mondeo near Brettargh Holt while disqualified and without insurance on February 23.
The 25-year-old, of Sharp Street in Askam, pleaded guilty to the offence when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court.
Sweeting was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for two years, banned from driving for two years and also told to pay a victim surcharge of £122 and £85 costs.
