RESCUERS were called out after a walker sustained a suspected head injury in the Yorkshire Dales.
The Cave Rescue Organisation (CRO) was notified of the incident at the Watlowes Valley, above Malham Cove, at around 12.30pm on Sunday.
It was reported the walker had fallen and injured himself.
Paramedics arrived via air ambulance ahead of the CRO team.
They walked the casualty to the head of the valley, handing him over to CRO team members who escorted him to an ambulance waiting at Langscar Gate.
