A BACKGROUND report is to be prepared for magistrates on a Carlisle pensioner who has pleaded guilty to exposing himself.
At the city's Rickergate Magistrates' Court, Paul Pieri, 73, of Dixon Court, Shaddongate, admitted committing the offence on Friday, May 22.
He also admitted a second charge.
This stated that on the previous day, Pieri had used threatening, abusive, or insulting behaviour towards a named female.
After hearing details of the case, magistrates ruled that the defendant should be given unconditional bail.
This will last until the date of his next court appearance, which was set by the court as being August 17.
The purpose of the adjournment was to allow time for Probation Service officials to prepare a pre-sentence report.
Court documents point out that the defendant has in the past used aliases, including Paul Piery.
